Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Cricket Exchange (“CRX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) mobile application (the “App”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use it. By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

In short: CRX does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email, or phone number to use the App. We rely on Google services (Firebase and AdMob) to run analytics, crash reporting, push notifications, and advertising. These services collect device and usage information as described below.

1. Who we are

The App is published by the team behind Cricket Exchange (CRX). For any privacy question or request, contact us at support@cricketexchange.live.

2. Information we collect

We do not collect directly identifying information such as your name, postal address, or phone number, and the App has no login or user account. We and our service providers collect the following categories of information automatically:

a) Device & technical information

  • Device model, operating-system version, language, and region settings.
  • App version, and a randomly generated app-instance identifier used to keep analytics consistent.
  • General (approximate) location inferred from your IP address — we do not collect precise GPS location.

b) Usage & analytics information

  • Which screens and features you open, taps and in-app events, session duration, and similar interaction data, used to understand how the App is used and to improve it.
  • This is collected through Google Firebase Analytics.

c) Diagnostics & crash data

  • If the App crashes or encounters an error, Google Firebase Crashlytics collects a diagnostic report (e.g. device state, stack trace, and the app-instance identifier) so we can fix the problem.

d) Advertising identifiers

  • The App displays ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may access your device’s Advertising ID and related signals to serve and measure ads, including limited measurement of ad interactions.

e) Push notification token

  • If you allow notifications, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging assigns a device push token so we can send you match alerts and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

3. How we use information

  • To deliver core features — live scores, scorecards, commentary, fixtures, market odds, and news.
  • To understand usage, measure performance, diagnose crashes, and improve the App.
  • To display and measure advertising that helps keep the App free.
  • To send optional push notifications you have opted into.
  • To protect against fraud, abuse, and security issues.

4. Cricket data & market odds

Scores, statistics, commentary, and market odds shown in the App are provided for information and entertainment only. The App does not accept deposits, hold funds, place bets, or facilitate any real-money wagering. Odds reflect publicly available market data and are not advice or a solicitation to gamble.

5. How information is shared

We do not sell your personal information. Information is processed by the service providers we use to operate the App:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users and the App.

6. Your choices

  • Advertising: You can reset or delete your Advertising ID, and limit ad personalisation, in Settings → Google → Ads on your Android device.
  • Notifications: Turn push notifications on or off in your device’s app notification settings.
  • Analytics: Uninstalling the App stops further collection. Most analytics data is tied to the app-instance identifier rather than to you personally.

7. Data retention

Analytics and diagnostic data are retained for the periods set by Google’s Firebase services and then aggregated or deleted. We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy.

8. Data deletion requests

Because the App has no account system, the simplest way to stop all collection is to uninstall the App and reset your Advertising ID. If you would like us to request deletion of analytics or diagnostic data associated with your device, email support@cricketexchange.live and we will act on your request.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is intended for a general adult audience interested in cricket and is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Because it displays market odds, it is best suited to users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, and data is transmitted over encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International users

The App is operated from India and information may be processed on servers located in India and other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App you consent to this processing.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
